Yantai Manoir was equipped with sophisticated inspection facilities, not only to satisfy the usual requirements of international codes and standards of any country, region or enterprise, but also to show distinctive with its own specialties:
- Two imported Thermo Fisher direct-reading spectrometers, calibrated by the standard coupons of Manoir proprietary alloys, provide quick and precise analysis of more than 40 elements including Ti、Zr、RE and trace elements. Thanks to this material metallurgical composition is ensured, especially for micro alloys; Chemical analysis lab is also equipped with several LECO carbon sulfur/oxygen nitrogen hydrogen analyzers.
- The mechanics laboratory is equipped with two electronic/mechanical testing machines, 14 creep test machines, Micro and Macro durometers, heat treatment furnace. The metallographic laboratory has perfect sample making and corrosion means, equipped with Zeiss metallographic microscope.
- Exclusive Air-test + Fluorescent test machine, imported from France, making 100% on line inspection of as-cast sections, can eliminate such defects like micro-cracks which could not be found by visual checks, and enhances the quality requirements of as-cast surface.
- France imported Eddy current test machine can guarantee a 100% inspection of the internal quality after tube inside boring and store the curves and data.
- Several portable PMI machines can verify the chemical analysis of all buyouts and welds.
- Yantai Manoir has five RT rooms, more than ten traditional X-ray & gamma ray machines and a set of digital ray inspection system, which can shoot 1200 films every day. the digital X-ray detection technology used by Yantai Manoir is the advanced RT techniques in current industrial circle and it is fitted with imported specific X-ray generator and digital detector array(DDA), which is applicable for radiographic testing of most of tube welds and small castings.
